The college has a progressing and in-demand distant learning centre affiliated to the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). It was established in 1990 and has gradually grown to be one of the biggest centers of IGNOU in the city. The centre shares infrastructural, academic facilities and personnel of the college. The students admitted to this college are given the opportunity to pursue any degree or certificate course as a distant learner from the IGNOU study centre of this college.
Science Departments of this college help in conducting practical classes of IGNOU B.Sc. courses in their Laboratories.
